BUDGETING YOUR TRIP

While this is a paid internship, it is advisable to come to the USA with enough funds to pay for initial expenses and to support yourself until you get paid for the first time. With Hosts operating on two-week pay cycles, that could take up to three weeks. Most Host Organizations provide free transport from the airport to your new address, plus daily transportation to and from work.

You will need enough funds for food, entertainment and a local mobile service. It is recommended that you arrive with access to at least $750.
