Budgeting for your trip

While this is a paid internship, you must come to the USA with enough funds to pay for initial expenses and to support yourself until you get paid for the first time (could be up to 3 weeks after arrival). Most Host Organizations provide free transport from the airport to your new address, plus daily transportation to and from work. You will need enough funds for a uniform, food, entertainment and a local mobile phone, if you wish to purchase one. It is recommended that you arrive with access to at least $750.
